Q: Nissan Rogue?
Has anyone had any experience owning the 2008/2009 Nissan Rogue?
Well, I am thinking about buying one this year. Choice is between a Rogue and the Murano. I have heard that the cargo room for the Rogue is kind of small and you feel every bump in the road. For the Murano, I have heard that you have to use Premium gas. Is that true??

A: I have read ever single review I could possibly find, and nothing bad so far. I am actually considering buying one this summer. I am excited. I’m going to, of course, test drive one before I make an actual decision.

Q: nissan Rogue?
what is the deal with the Rogue ?
Does it compete with the small suv?
such as the honda crv?
Can you get leather seats?
On the web site it does not seem like you can.

A: I test drove the new Rogue, and I thought it was superior in every way to the RAV4 that I own. It was just as fun to drive, actually it was more fun to drive, because it had paddle shifters on the steering column. It was very quiet and smooth, with plenty of power. The Rogue SL has available xenon headlights, and what I thought was really cool was that the ignition key does not have to be in the ignition to start it. As long as the key was on you, just turn the ignition switch, and it would start! I loved it. I would definitely choose it over the CRV or RAV4. I think it looks better than the CRV and RAV4 as well.

Q: Would you buy the 2010 Nissan Rogue now or wait a couple of months for the 2011 model?
I am going to buy the Nissan Rogue. Would you buy the 2010 now or wait a couple of months for the 2011 model?

A: I would buy the 2010 and take the rebate

Q: Can I program my (unused) intelligent keyless Nissan FOB to unlock a Nissan Rogue that just has keyless entry?
We just sold a 2008 Nissan Altima that had the intelligent keyless entry and push button start and bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue. The Rogue has keyless entry but not the intelligent keyless type if that makes any sense… Could I program the spare intelligent FOB from the Altima to open the Rogue? I know it obviously would not start it because there is no physical key but just to unlock the doors would be cool. Thank you!

A: Different frequency’s Altima I-Key brodcasts all the time an identifier code so when you walked up to the car it saw you so you could push the rubber door lock request switch. Altima I-Key fobs have a release in the back with a mechanical key that hooks to your key ring. Designed to allow you into the car if the I-Key battery fails (insert the I-Key into the I-Key slot) or the car battery dies, to open the car and hood. Your Rogue should have two fobs and two black keys and a red valet key from the factory. Up to five sets of fobs can be programed to your new Rogue. At $100 or more each I-Key for your old altima may be valuable to some one who needs one. But your mechanical key will not work another Altima unless keyed alike.

Q: How is Nissan Rogue 2009 S and SL Model?
I am planning to buy a CUV and based on my driving experience am feeling inclined towards Nissan Rogue 2009,

Would appreciate expert opinions on Nissan Rogue.
I am looking for 1> Safety 2> Reliability 3> Ride quality 4> Service and maintenance costs 5> build quality 6> Resale Value

Would appreciate answers that can help making a decision.

A: With out doubt the Rogue has been one of the best new car launch Nissan has ever made. Look to the Insurance institude for trafffic safety or IIHS for crash data. Available with 4 wheel drive and they get 29 miles a gallon. Only 1 year of data so far but they all need 2 or three oil changes a year and a tire rotate. Get the chrome sticker grill opening covers it gives the Rogue a more finished front end.

A: I have some of my customers that own these and so far since they are still under warranty I can tell you that they are very safe and reliable and they ride and handle very well, the parts and maintenance is somewhat expensive because I am can only get the needed parts from the dealer and the only thing that I would have no idea on will be the resale value.

Q: What happens if door is open when I lock my nissan rogue?
So, hypothetically, if I was to leave a door slightly open on my nissan rogue, would there be any indicator? I presume that the door will still lock and make the locking “chirp” as it would regularlly, but is there any other indication? I need to know if someone will notice if one door is slightly open while they try and lock it. No, I’m not a car theif- me and my nephew are trying to prank my sister.

A: If it’s your Nissan rogue, why don’t you go try it out and see if anything strange happens?

Q: nissan rogue?
opinions

A: I have test driven a 4 cyl RAV4 sport 4×4, new CRV 4×4 EX and I tested the Rogue SL AWD (with premium package) about a week ago.

The Rogue is the most car-like driving. It handles very well and rides well. It seemed to be the quietest on the freeway.

I know that a V6 RAV is way more powerful than the Rogue but the RAV with that engine is a couple thousand more and I don’t have any towing in mind.

Of the three, I think the Rogue is definitely the best value, considering the added options the others don’t have.

The Rogue I tested was about the same price as the other two — roughly $24k-$26k. However, the Rogue had HID (xenon) headlights, intelligent key and paddle shifters — the CRV and RAV don’t have them even as an option.

I saw a V6 RAV on the lot that had leather, but the price was getting close to $30k. The Rogue also had bluetooth built in, which the RAV had, but the CRV didn’t.

The Rogue’s intelligent key is awesome. You just have it in your pocket and you can open the doors and start the engine. No more fumbling for your keys. HID headlights are way better than standard halogens, too.

It is kind of hard to see out of the back of the Rogue (you need to use the side mirrors more) but it wasn’t terrible. I also have a pickup, so I am kind of used to that.

I tried out the paddle shifters, but I don’t think I would really need them in normal driving. I guess it’s kind of a gimmick. The Bose stereo was very impressive. The salesman told me you get satellite radio for 3 months free, too.

I definitely like the Rogue the best. I was going to buy one, but the dealership wanted to screw me over on my trade in and wouldn’t come down on the price of the Rogue at all. I am going to wait a while until the “newness” fades a little and I can get a better deal. I might go to another dealership, too.

Q: how much does a used nissan rogue usually cost?
its like my dream car and when i get my license, I want to make sure that my parents get me a good affordable vehicle. So how much would a nissan rogue probably cost if it was used?

A: more then anybody in this economy can afford

Q: is anyone selling a white nissan rogue In las vegas nv?
Please im looking for a white nissan rogue. If your selling one and live in las vegas nv please let me know.

A: Your best bet would be to visit http://www.autotrader.com and search for Nissan Rogues with your personal specifications. You simply enter your zip code, choose the make, model and year(s) of the car, and then choose options you want to limit the search to (for example, white paint).

You can also visit http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/ and search for car classifieds by clicking on the “cars+trucks” link listed under the For Sale header.

Good luck.

Q: How many miles per gallon does the 2008 Nissan Rogue get?
anyone have any specs on the 2008 nissan rogue? They start selling them in September but I can’t find any “real” info.

A: I’ve searched everywhere and found nothing. At this point, all I can say is that information probably hasn’t been released yet.

Q: will a 2007 or 2008 bumper cover work on a 09 nissan rogue?
I own a 2009 Nissan Rogue and someone backed into it. I have found 3 replacements for the bumper online all in great condition but hey are for 2007 and 2008 models. I know rarely is much changed for the first few years of a car being produced so I was wondering does anyone know if a 2007 or 08 model bumper is the same as the 09?

A: Just how much could a perfect new Nissan Bumper cover cost? Your body shop could charge your comprehensive insurance coverage. Unless you can find a bumper cover of the same color don’t buy used. Multi paint layers will tend to chip off and crack when flexed. I think the rogue bumper has not changed 2007 till 2010 should bolt right on.

Q: Does the Nissan Rogue have a tracking device?
I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to track a nissan rogue with a device that it already comes with. Can someone help me out?

A: No one is watching. No tracking device you would have to pay extra for some service like GM’s On-Star.

Q: I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue AWD, can I pull a jet ski with it?
I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue, it is AWD, 170-hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, Xtronic CVT, will i be able to pull a jet ski?

A: It will work nicely as long as you don’t try to tow two/three jet skis with ice chests gear and four people too. Look at your owners manual for towing and trailer cargo weights. Section 9 Page #17 on will give you trailer weight tongue weights. Be sure you have a good hitch and wiring for trailer lights installed.

Q: What do you think about the new 2008 Nissan Rogue SUV?
www.nissanusa.com/rogue/index.html
I’m in the market for a new SUV and I was wondering what the general consensus is on the new 2008 Nissan Rogue SUV?

A: Actually, they’re selling quite well and are leading the class ni power, economy and features.

There’s a forum for Rogue owners at http://www.nissanrogue.org/, might ask them what they think?
