Q: What is the song in the secret girlfriend/ kia forte commercial?
There is a song in both the commercials for comedy central’s show secret girlfriend and for the kia forte koup. Does anybody know what it is?
A: Check here:

Q: I would like to buy a new Kia Forte Koup, with the 6 speed manual transmission with 173 hp?
I want the Kia Forte Koup 6 speed, with the basics, which is around $18,500. What can i say to haggle the price down? With the market the way it is, how much would the monthly payment be? What are the bad things about it?
A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net
Q: What color should I get on the kia forte koup?
I plan on getting the kia forte koup in the near future. I live in northern Indiana and salt and snow gets all over your car in the winter. What color car hides this the best? Colors I like include titanium, black, white, and silver. So, what color looks the best on a coupe and which color makes the snow and salt the least obvious.
Thanks
A: the best color is white of course, but a white car can be a little boring, the next best color is silver…. its like the medium… and black will show every little piece of dirt that hits the vehicle. and titanium is better than black but worse than silver…. so in the order from best color to worst color it is white, silver, titanium, black.
Q: Is the 2010 Kia Forte car a great first car for a college student?
I’m looking to buy a new car within the next couple months to replace the old junker I’m driving now and I was considering the Kia Forte. Is this a good car or should stick with the usual Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla?
A: I’ve driven two Fortes: an automatic EX and a manual SX that I had for a week. While I’ve been a big fan of many recent Kias, this car didn’t impress me for its comfort or refinement, and the manual model did indeed have a very awkward touchy clutch and touchy throttle that made smooth driving difficult.
However, there are other choices beyond the Forte and the Civic/Corolla. A great often-overlooked budget car is the Nissan Versa, which dealers (at least in the DC area) sell nicely-equipped for just over $12,000 (from a sticker price of $16,000). It’s spacious and quiet and earned top safety ratings.
The Hyundai Elantra, mechanically related to the Forte, is also a better car in several ways, including ride quality and quietness, and shares the advantages of a low price and long warranty. Its biggest downside is mediocre side-impact crash test scores.
Another thing to note is that the Corolla and Civic are not interchangeable. The Corolla tends to be significantly less expensive, with lower sticker prices and dealers who are more willing to negotiate even lower. The Civic is very expensive for what you get.
Q: Is a Honda Civic Coupe/Kia Forte Koup too dangerous for a first car?
I really like both cars (the kia a bit more), but my parents think that they’re too small and therefore dangerous for a first car. However, they’re ranked 1 and 2 in their class for safety by the IIHS, and all the websites say that the civic is the best choice for a first car (and the forte is very similar to the civic). So what do you think?
A: Yes the Honda Civic is a very safe and reliable car. They last a long time and are better then Kia’s and I think Kia’s suck and are cheaply made. Honda Civic’s are cheap so it’s a good first car for a teenager and they are safe and they are cheaper to insure then a 2 door sports coupe or a more expensive car. So I don’t know what your parents are talking about but they should know any Honda will be safe and are cheap and are great cars for first time drivers.
Q: should i buy a mazda3 or a kia forte?
I’m looking into buying my first new car, and I am trying to decide between a new Mazda3 4 door sedan or a new Kia Forte 4 door sedan, both 5 speed manual transmission. I’m not sure which is better, based on dollar value, longevity, how resilient the car is, etc. Any advice or suggestions would be great, thanks!
A: Mazda 3 for sure. It has proven to be reliable, good on gas, excellent driving dynamics. Overall, a good car. Kia Forte is new car and long term reliability is not yet proven. If you intend to keep the car for a long time, definitely go with Mazda 3.
Q: How much should I pay for a Kia Forte EX?
Kia is known for the worst resale value. How much should I pay? I was think of throwing down a crazy number like 14,000 flat on the road. I want this car to be worth something after 5 to however many more years compared to a civic or corolla.
Or should I invest in another compact vehicle, such as Corolla or Civic?
A: If you plan to keep the car for a number of years, I’d get the Kia. Not only are they some of the safest cars on the road and full of so many features that are optional (more money) on other cars, but the warranty on the Kia is one of the best in the car business. But if you think that you’d end up selling the car after a year or so, then I’d go for a Civic or a Mazda 3.
All that said, I don’t recommend to anyone buying a car to base all of their decision on the resale value of the car. The car’s style, ride, handling and features are all important factors to look at and think about before you buy the car. Safety is also very important, since your life is PRICELESS. I’d look into all of these factors before buying a car.
Q: Is GM shaking in their boots over the new KIA Forte?
What will GMs answer to the KIA Forte be?
A: Not really. In the spring of 2010, GM will start production of the popular Cruze currently being sold in Europe & Australia. The 1.4L turbo engine is said to get 41 mpg/hwy. Then in a couple more yrs, Buick will have a small “premium sedan” made on the same platform. This has been years in the making so it’s not really news. As I expect of all Korean made cars, their resale & reliability will be sub standard. Lots of hype, but no real value.
Edit note: The Chevy Aveo is made by Daewoo & that is also jointly owned by GM. Kia has no ties with the GM brand.
Q: How often would a Kia Forte need maintenance?
I’m thinking about getting one and every one tells me that you need to keep them in good shape. So How often should i take the car to get maintenance if i do get it? Should it be like once every three months or every certain mileage? I know that i have to consistently check the fluids but i don’t know about the maintenance.
A: I had a new 01 Sportage drove it for 150K never lifted the hood never changed the oil or anything, finally died last spring, so you should get 149K between oilchanges and services, before it will die, the battery was even orginal
Q: What is the estimated cost to put a sunroof in a 2010 Kia Forte?
We’re looking to get a sunroof in the car since it was not already in. Can someone estimate and let me know?
A: Hi. Depending on where you live; check in the phone book for auto sunroof installation shops. The typical cut and install black glass flip up model should run between $150-350. Sometimes you can get a unit that you can take the entire glass out also and store it in a bag in the trunk. It’s not a big deal really….just remember that in the long run it will be another way for a thief to break into your car, if they see something inside they want. Good luck!!
Q: what do you think about the Kia Forte Koup?
I’m getting my first car soon, and I really like the new Kia Forte Koup.
do you think a Kia would be good for my first car? if not, do you have any suggestions?
A: The newest Kias are actually pretty good, they come with more standard equipment, and the best warranty – 10 yr / 100000 miles, and better fuel economy now. . Cobalts are dog old and are being replaced next year. For the same price, try Honda Fit or Civic DX
Q: For the kia forte koup sx trim does it come with a remote start?
On the website it says it comes with a remote keyless entry but im not sure if it comes with a button on the keys where you can start the car and unlock it say 100 ft away?
A: No. That unlocks the doors. It doesn’t start the engine.
Q: What do you think of the Kia Forte?
I am considering trading in my van for the Forte. Do you think it will depreciate in value quickly which is par for the course for most Kias.
A: Probably, but for the money, it looks like a very nice car. Kia’s are very dependable. Go for it.
Q: Do i need to get a new dashboard if i want to put subwoofers in a 2010 kia forte koup?
Im not sure if i need to change the dasboard for the radio and stuff if i dont need to to instal subwoofers that be great. help?!
A: you have to buy a dash install kit made for the car. you can get one from like walmart or best buy
Q: Is the Kia Forte a good automobile for everyday use?
Kia and Hyundai have a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty.
A: I am actually doing some work with Kia , so I have come across some good info on the Forte. To answer your question, yes it is a good car for daily use – it gets great gas mileage and has lots of features.
It was nominated for car of the year, which you can read about here:
